Dogs have food sensitivities to ingredients that are included in most dry dog food recipes. We have 30 years of proof! Our food was fully analyzed at a commercial laboratory and exceeds the AAFCO standards for all breeds and life stages. (No bull! But there is beef.)

Thinking you might make your own raw dog food? Online DIY recipes may not provide the proper nutrients your dog needs. We developed our product when Emmy (dog on left) became ill.
Our food is homemade using only human grade ingredients. We offer a complimentary diet evaluation with an in person home visit to properly assess your dog’s dietary needs.
Wild
Dry food is convenient but it is not what dogs ate before humans intervened. Your dog is domesticated but their dietary needs are the same.
The Colorado RAW diet replicates what a wild canine would eat. They would hunt for rabbits, birds and small mammals. They would eat nuts and berries and other fruit found in the wild, as well as eggs from unattended bird's nests. The canine would eat its entire prey; flesh, bones, organs, and the digested plant material in the intestines. The result is a diet that is primarily meat and bones, organ meat, green leafy vegetables, fruits, berries and eggs.

Let’s get RAW: Raw dog food does not look pretty
After it’s all mixed up of course. Some raw dog food companies try to make your dog’s food look appealing in our eyes through their marketing, but that is not the important factor to focus on! Don’t get distracted by these polished and propped photos (yum - looks like beef stew!). It’s truly not what your dog wants or needs. (Be honest, what’s the grossest thing your dog has ever eaten? My dogs love deer droppings!)
We obtain our beef and chicken from some of the same suppliers as the grocery stores.
Our vegetables, fruits, and eggs are organic*. Our supplements are organic and non-GMO.
Ingredients are kept fresh by grinding, mixing, and immediately freezing our product.
Our production is done in a specially designed area of our home using only human grade ingredients.
*Occasionally, organic produce is not available.
OUR PACK GIVES BACK BY RECYCLING
Let’s get RAW, we all could do better about giving back to mother earth. We ask our customers to wash their empty containers in the dishwasher, allow them to dry, and store them until the next delivery. When we deliver your food, we pick up your empty containers, sterilize them and re-use them.
Not only does this help the environment but it lowers the cost of the food to our customers!
